Honeymoon-Day 4

Today was perfect. What day isn't down here? We woke up this morning, had some breakfast in our room and grabbed a coffee across the street at a really cute outdoor coffee shop.  We came back to our room, put our suits on, awns headed for the pool! We spent the majority of our day just loungin' by e pool. The chairs are amazing. They re like an extremely comfortable bed.  Between our hotel pool and the beach is a row of beach bars. The Mango Deck is known for great food and the parties. The drinks are two for one and the food was great!  Ev had chicken enchiladas that had the best flavor. Thanks to the chili verde salsa. I had shrimp, cheese, and cilantro quesadillas that were phenomena. Oh! How could I forget our appetizer? Sushi is huge down here! You see it everywhere. Our waitor recommended a roll that was his favorite. Oh my goodness!!! Sometimes I have a hard time eating bdig pieces of raw fish..but this is different than Kansas sushi (I'm so sorry sushi train....I love you still)! Instead of rice, the roll was wrapped in yellowish tuna. The inside had fresh crab and avocado. And then it was topped with sesame seeds and the most amazing cilantro ginger sauce. Can you tell I love food??? Haha! Mango Deck was a lot of fun. We sat 20 feet from the water, and had a blast with our two for one drinks and great company.

One topic of our bajillion conversations we have had was bout how much we enjoy spending time with each other. We both said how we thought there would be a time when we got on each others nerves. That has not been the case at all!!! (Minus when Evan wakes up and does the usual round of duck toots that sometimes sound like we have a duck in our room or a herd if mosquitos).  Anyways...back to how much we love each other. This trip has honestly exceeded my expectations by so much. We have had an absolute blast together....laughing constantly.

After lunch and drinks we thought it would be fun tom go parasailing. So we headed to our room to drop off our belongings and on the way the Saltwater Spa was staring at us. We looked at each other and said, yup! We enjoyed the best 80 minute couples Swedish massage. It was fantastic. Afterwards they gave us chocolate cake since we are on our honeymoon. Amazing.  After our afternoon at the spa, we laid by the pool to take a nap. We went upstairs and got ready for some din din. We went to Andres Mamma Mia Pizzeria. It was delish!!

Following dinner we did a little shopping and stopped at our favorite bar, Die Trying! Elena was working so we had to stop. Of course it was the same special, dolla beers!  We met some really great locals. They were so much fun!  Ev and I felt like we were in a movie  the entire time. One of the guys brought his guitar and we all sang along to songs the entire time. Stayed tuned for all of the videos.  I will post them when we get back home.  There were 7 of us in the bar...and we filled it. It was such a neat experience. We loved getting t know them and hearing all of their stories. Throughout the night there were little girls that would come try to sell us those little anima bobble head things. And they are adorable but I dint need anymore of those in our house haha. One of them put on the best show. Se would keep coming up to Evan and pouting. And then she would get mad. She would slap the table and say come on!! Or bang her fist of tr table nd jut stare at Jim with this awfully mean look.  She scared me and she was 8.  Then she would walk outside and look through the sidewalk walkup window and just glare at Evan. I was trying so hard not to laugh while Evans heart was breaking. The locals said not to pay them. They said that the kids out doing this stay up until 3 am selling an are not in school. The locals said they tell them to show them their report card and then they will give them money. Some do need the money, but there are some that make some great money and are not in school.  We are halfway through our trip! Stay tuned for the rest!
