Honeymoon Day 1-Part 2

We landed in Cabo, were heckled by some taxi/shuttle/time share people because we don't know better. Haha :) We decided to take the shuttle because it was much cheaper. With a cheap shuttle comes car sickness...but we made it, and couldn't be more happy!!!

We checked in, and my honest self immediately asked for an upgrade. I told the guy, "Hey, its our honeymoon, and we want the best room you got!" It doesn't hurt to ask does it??? Our room wasn't ready yet so we went and toured the pool and had some lunch. This little midge toured us around the main floor and since we are "members", he hooked us up with a free breakfast buffet for members only, a free excursion (we are thinking the sunset cruise...it takes you out late afternoon to look at the rock arches, watch the sunset, all you can drink, and a fajita buffet!) He also gave us half price excursions-parasailing is only $25, when normally it's at least $80-$100.  So we are excited for those!! Lunch was delish. We ate out by the pool and split tacos and nachos. It came with an adobe chipotle salsa...amazing! Hungry yet???

Evans allergies are killing him. Matter of fact, he is sleeping right now with two pieces of toilet paper in his nostrils. We are hoping this dry weather will dry him up in no time!

Well, my forward personality got us a killer room! We went from a studio to a one bedroom suite with a pool, ocean, and mountain view. It is very modern. All dark wood, white walls, full kitchen, dining room, giant bathroom with an awesome shower, a jacuzzi, living room, and a giant patio that is accessible from the living room and bedroom!! We are definitely enjoying our room :)

Not sure where we are eating tonight? We may go to a more chill, laid back dinner because we are going on 3 hours of sleep and we want Ev to feel 100% tomorrow!

Let me just explain this view...simply amazing. The pool is so pretty. The lobby is all open. When you look towards the ocean, the first thing you notice is the giant mountain...it's beautiful. You have a mixture of palm trees and cactus (my fav).  The water is perfect. We are on Medano Beach. It's where all of the action is. This is where you go parasailing, jet skiing, go on tours, etc. This is the only area in Cabo that is swimmable. A lot of the other areas have bigger waves. Let me just explain this water. Not what I was expecting at all!!! Gorgeous! I thought the water would be a pretty blue, somewhat similar to Puerto Vallarta. Nope, it's royal blue the further out, and crystal clear/turquoise/white sand beaches. Truly feels like a fairytale.

We woke up from a 4 hour nap and started getting ready for dinner. Evan isn't really feeling himself. His allergies are really bothering him. We are hoping its just an adjustment or the fact he ran out of singular for a few days. Mine are bothering me too so I have been researching pollen in Cabo...no luck yet!

....

Dinner was really fun! We decided to take it kind of easy since Ev wasn't feeling great. We are a 2 minute walk to the marina, and right outside the marina is downtown. We are in a prime location. We walked around the marina and went downtown. It is so cool. I just love Mexico. We decided to eat at The infamous, Cabo Wabo. It was really good! Evan had chicken fajitas, and I had shrimp quesadillas. Yum!! The chips and salsa was AMAZING and sooooo fresh!!! The salsa was chunks of tomatoes, garlic, and cilantro. The guacamole was the best guacamole I have ever had. It had big chunks of avocado instead of it being mashed. Amazing! After dinner we went on another walk and had some ice cream...mistake, I am going to want it everyday now. You can tell my posts are all food and drinks!!! It's the best part and the most fun!

We are off to bed to get Evan back to feeling 100%!

Stay tuned...
