Honeymoon-Day 8...our last day in Cabo

We woke up early today so we could enjoy as much of our day as possible before we had to head to the airport. We had breakfast at the beach restaurant at our resort. It was really good! Then we headed up to our room to pack as fast as possible so we could enjoy our last day in the sun. We checked out, and headed to the pool. We laid out and swam until the last possible second. Got a little pink, but we don't care!

We took a cab to the airport and on the way asked our cab driver to stop in San Jose to get fresh coconut. I was so excited, and so was Evan. After almost five years of being together, neither of us had any idea the other loved coconut! How did we not know that??? People either hate it or love it, and others usually know about it. We thought it was so strange we didn't know that about each other. In San Jose, there are places you can stop on the side of the road and they climb the trees, cut down the coconuts and you eat/drink it seconds later. We pull up to the guy and we are so pumped...and guess what? It totally back fired. We drank "the milk" out of the coconut...did not taste at all like milk or even like coconut for that matter. We are just waiting now for when we poop our pants. So I thought, maybe we need to dump the milk and have them cut up the coconut so we can just eat it. Tasted nothing like coconut. Nothing. It was awful. Pure disappointment.

Now we are on the plane...excited to go home, but bummed we are leaving paradise and the absolute best trip of our lives. This will be hard to beat, and it's okay if we don't ever beat this trip. It was so special, and plus, it was our honeymoon :) We're so lucky!!!!!!
